How to Install Kyocera Printer, Scanner Drivers?
In order to print from Windows computers, you need to identify it with the driver. For this, you can search for the relevant model from the manufacturer’s site and install the printer. However, with Kyocera printers, things can be a little different. Especially if you are going to connect over the network.
When you install on other printers, both the printer and the scanner are installed at the same time. However, on Kyocera devices, you need to make a separate installation for the browser. In this confusion of installation, we wanted to prepare a guide for you to enable you to do these operations easily.

Install Kyocera Printer Driver
Let’s set up the Printer first. If you are going to connect with USB for this. Connect the printer to the computer via USB. If you are going to install over the Network. Plug the network cable into the printer and modem. Have the printer turned on.
- Right click the “Setup.exe” application in the printer driver folder and run as administrator. In the window that opens, first accept the agreement by saying “Accept”. Then click “Custom Install” from the left menu.
- The program finds a printer connected via USB or Network in Devices. It also shows the model of this printer. For example: When the “ECOSYS M2135dn” Printer is found, we add it to the list on the right by clicking the Arrow to the Right.
- Then, we select the “KX DRIVER (Recommended) Extended functionality printing” option from the list of drivers below, and click the Arrow to the right of it again and add it to the list on the right. Finally, we start the printer installation process by clicking the “Install” button below.
- Click the “OK” button in the window that appears as in the picture above.
- As you can see in the image above, the drivers are installed. When the process is finished, click the “Finish” button to complete the printer setup process.
Install Kyocera Scanner Driver
- Right click the “Setup.exe” application in the scanner driver folder and run as administrator. In the window that opens, first accept the agreement by saying “Accept”. Then click “Custom Install” from the left menu.
- The program finds a scanner connected via USB or Network in Devices. It also shows the model of this scanner. For example: When the “ECOSYS M2135dn” Scanner is found, we add it to the list on the right by clicking the Arrow to the Right.
- Then, we select the option “Directly from TWAIN supported applications…” from the list of drivers below, and click the Arrow on the right again, and we add it to the list on the right. Finally, we start the printer installation process by clicking the “Install” button below.
- As you can see in the image above, the drivers are installed. When the process is finished, click the “Finish” button to complete the browser installation process.
How to Scan Documents from a Scanner?
We installed the Printer and Scanner drivers and introduced them to the computer. So how do we scan our documents? If the printer is connected via USB, you can right click the printer and start scanning. However, if you are connected on the network, we need to use an extra application and program. For this, Kyocera has its own app in the Windows Store, you can use it. Or you can use the programs we will give below.
