Active Windows Photo Viewer via Regedit

  1. Copy the code below and paste it into a Notepad.
  2. Save it under the name “Photo Viewer.reg”. Make sure the ending is .reg
  3. Open this file you created last by double-clicking it. Say “Yes” and “OK” to the warnings that appear.
  4. You can now view your photos with Windows Photo Viewer by Right-clicking > Open With.

Make Windows Photo Viewer as Default

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Applications > Default apps.
  2. Here you can select the desired application in the photo viewer section.
  3. Thus, when you double click on your photos, it will open with the application you want.
